Input wanted!

Note to self: follow own advice to self and create blogs in word-processing application to prevent having to rewrite a given blog!

  Good day all! Thanks to Karen Michelle Nutt for hosting me yesterday at her beautiful blog–love blogspots and getting to know other names and faces, too! Molte grazie (i.e., many thanks; literal translation is especially pretty: many graces) to everyone who stopped by whether/not I know about it, lol. Finally, those who make each blogspot special a special virtual hug to each of you–y’all know who you are!

Okay, I’m looking for some help today; in need of some information and/or opinions on using different social networking sights.

Recently, someone sent me an invitatin to LinkedIn. I also got e-mail from an author friend who commented how my use of Twitter obviously increases traffic to my blog. (Would love to agree with her but I really don’t know for sure.) I have two Facebook pages; no MySpace.

So here’s the input part: I’m looking for those of you who utilize any/all of these tools regularly to share some of the ways you do. Anyone who feels really well-versed is welcome to contact me and book a spot at my blog with a summary-type of write up so that all of us can learn and grow and put to use these great tools available to us.  Everyone else: toss your ideas/opinions onto the comment wall and help this promo-challenged author grow in this area!

Thanks so much and don’t forget: New Summer Reading Trail to go up in exactly one week!

Seize (and enjoy) the day,

Joanna

  1. Joanna, I resisted and resisted until finally I snapped. I opened a FaceBook account and I must admit, I have enjoyed the connection this site brings to my home every day.

    I established the account purely for business. But I have been afforded the magical luck of discovering new friends and staying in touch with people who are near and dear to my heart.

    I’ve been resisting, resisting, resisting Twitter….to be continued 🙂

  2. SCAM

    IGNORE EMAILS FROM GRGIALL@YAHOO.COM
    IT’S A SCAM;
    IDENTITY STOLEN FROM ME;
    USING OLD EMAIL TO TRY TO GET MONEY;
    MY NEW EMAIL IS:
    REBECCACAPRI@YAHOO.COM
    PLEASE PASS THIS ON SO NO ONE ELSE WILL GET HURT BY THIS;
    STAY OFF TAGGED.OM
    I’M STUPID
    I’LL NEVER GET ON IT AGAIN
    I THINK THAT’S WHERE THIS ALL STARTED
    NOT SURE, BUT I THINK IT WAS SOMEONE ON THERE;
    I CAN’T EVEN GET ON MY WEBSITE OR RECEIVE EMAILS THROGUH IT;
    SO IF YOU TRY REBECCASAVAGE.COM
    THAT WON’T WORK EITHER
    YAHOO.COM BLOCKED ME FROM EVERYTHING, OR THE HACKER DID, BUT HE/SHE IS STILL SENDING EMAILS…IRONIC, HUH?
