A little about me…

Occupational therapist who never imagined the writing skills necessary to enter her profession would lead her to the world of virtual romance.

I am a crafter. I’ve painted, stenciled, sewed, made photo albums–you name it, I’ve probably tried it. (Add speaker-in-the-making to that list.) One day, this avid reader/wife/mother of two rambunctious boys noted a flyer posted at the library for a book signing that evening. The author discussed writing. Specifically, creating a heroine I could relate to along with a hero I with whom I’d want to fall in love.

I knew I could do it, though I’d written only one chapter to my book at that time.  (I even had nerve enough to raise my hand and admit that in a room full of people, many of whom had completed and/or published manuscripts!).

I went home and got busy (writing and learning). The flashbacks from that first chapter grew into a book dedicated to a hero who has become the love of my writer’s life.  I’ve completed a sequel and am currently trudging through the learning process necessary for writing Part Three, which will have elements of mystery/suspense–something I haven’t written before. The original story is in polished first-draft form, patiently waiting for its turn to blossom into a marketable work: a possibly related title; assuming some minor characters, who gave me a glimpse into their lives pre-pre-debut story, get their way and land leading roles.

Thanks so much for your virtual visit. I do hope you’ll check back in periodically for updates on what I’m up to. While you’re here, please feel free to roam around the site. I love visitors and try to make sure everyone who stops by will find at least one topic of interest!

And after this article A little about me&. I was actually excited enough to drop a thought 🙂 I actually do have a couple of questions for you if it’s okay. Is it just me or do some of these remarks appear like they are coming from brain dead folks? 😛 And, if you are posting at additional sites, I would like to keep up with you. Could you make a list every one of your community pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
